SPACE FILM - NATIONAL SCRIPT COMPETITION
In the 2022 edition, the Spazio Film becomes the only supporting fulcrum of the MitreoFilmFestival, whose goal is to help young authors in their educational and artistic path. It is aimed at the under 25 with the need to bring out new generations of young screenwriters and filmmakers in their first experiences, believing that in this age group the need to be supported is stronger. We will select through the call ( downloadable on this site ), young aspiring screenwriters, who will arrive in our city to be followed in the elaboration of the subjects with which they apply, by professional scriptwriters coaches to arrive at the screenplay with the which to enter the National Screenplay Competition and win the making of the short film. All this by meeting guests from the literary world and professionals. The idea of cinema is a collective thought, it works with the immaterial and makes it visible: hence the need to build worlds made of life. Hence the choice to work with individuals in a composite fabric, with the group making the initial project concrete. This is "Spazio film", a physical place where there is the time for confrontation, where a small number of young people are followed, expanding the field of individual thought, with the modalities of the laboratory, alternating the classic work of elaboration and refinement of a text-scenography with dialectics. A small number of participants favors knowledge and deepening, in the thread that starts from thought to writing, the result of a process of continuous meeting, exchange and construction between young writers-screenwriters and coaches, with further moments of collective discussion. , up to the final realization of the film after a selection and evaluation phase.
