SCENE 1. 5.00 pm. HOUSE OF ART, via Mazzocchi 1.
PROGRAM PRESENTATION, in the presence of the Staff of the MitreoFilmFestival 2018 and Avv. Antonio Mirra, Mayor of S. Maria CV.
All artists who wish to participate in the activities of the MitreoFilmFestival 2018 are called.
CREATIVE SPACE. 11-14 October 2018.
SCENE 2. EVERY DAY. CONTINUED SCHEDULE. HOUSE OF ART, via Mazzocchi 1.
By virtue of the general regeneration project of the Territory and by virtue of the objective of giving new life to a historic building in Santa Maria CV that has long been disused, the Casa dell'Arte becomes a space for creation, production and sets.
In support of young authors and artists, with the creative spirit of those who want to promote cultural and artistic exchange and to lay the foundations for new projects, the MitreoFilmFestival 2018 wants its days to become a container of ideas and creation, always open and productive.
The Casa dell'Arte will remain open every day and its rooms will host the creative activity of authors and artists.
In particular:
WRITING SPACE: authors of Cinema, Theater and Literature, whether they are professionals or young beginners, are invited to write stories inspired by the building of the House of Art and the theme of the "Big Words" festival to join of the association's activities and productions planned for 2019.
THEATER SPACE: 3 theater companies (50% of which are made up of young people under 30) use the spaces of the Casa dell'Arte to test new entertainment ideas that bind Theater and Cinema. An extract of the rehearsals will be shown to the public on Saturday 13th, at the Garibaldi Theater in Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
SPACE SET: actors of all ages and backgrounds meet the Artistic Director to participate in the filming of a new project that will come to life during the days of the Festival.
EXHIBITION SPACE: Campania artists are invited to exhibit their works by setting up a personal exhibition, in order to promote their visibility.
During the four days of the Festival and CREATIVE SPACE, the usual appointments of the MitreoFilmFestival, relating to the competitions, are also scheduled.
The National Competition for Short Films - SPAZIO FILM, foreseen by the 2018 calls, will NOT be completed due to failure to reach the appropriate number, while the INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION - MITREOFILMFESTIVAL 2018 is confirmed.
Thursday, 11th October.
SCENE 3. 9.00 pm. CASA DELL'ARTE, via Mazzocchi 1. OUT OF COMPETITION SCREENING.
Nobody is innocent, by Toni D'angelo, with Salvatore Esposito, the extraordinary participation of Riccardo Zinna and the friendly participation of Loredana Simioli and Gaetano Di Vaio.
The director Toni D'angelo presents the screening.
We are now harassed by black news reports on Naples and Scampia.
The media give us a one-way image, if you enter Scampia you risk your life.
You go in and you don't know if you get out alive. Successful TV series, novels,
social policy programs, everyone talks about it.
Dante's hell is nothing in comparison.
Shootings, assassinations, drug dealing. The protagonist of this short film lives on these clichés that he learns from radio and TV. He has to go to Naples to sign a contract for a contract, a turning point for his career. But one piece of news will make this trip a nightmare: the meeting place is in a warehouse located in Scampia. The navigator accompanies our hero in the various circles of the imaginary hell of this man's mind. Every movement or noise, but even a simple gesture of courtesy, is perceived by him as threatening. Everyone follows him, he's a stranger ... the bad guys are all there ... a journey into the disaster of clichés all told from the distorted and acid point of view of our protagonist.

The writer and screenwriter Roberto Moliterni presents his book The cardboard house.
"We kissed other times, on the internet, during that perpetual and imaginary sunset."
This is a love story of today, knowledge via the internet on social networks, winks,
then pushed phrases, coexistence,
Ikea furniture, catalogs, common platitudes, and the end of love,
because today a relationship doesn't last anymore
of compressed chipboard furniture.
Told with us, as if it were anyone's story,
because love too is perhaps a product intended for consumption; cruel affair
and almost sociological,
where we find our impressive and anonymous world.

Presentation of “10 DIRECTORS 10 TALISMAN”, a plaquette by Jonny Costantino and Luca Ferri.
With the participation of architects Gianluca Cioffi and Gilda Emanuele.
10 texts written by 2 directors (Costantino and Ferri) starting from 10 phrases / talisman by 10 directors. In order of appearance on planet Earth: Charlie Chaplin, Jacques Tati, Elia Kazan, Orson Welles,

In an evening of live entertainment, the awards ceremony of the INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION - MITREOFILMFESTIVAL 2018 will take place, in the presence of the jury composed of Pietro Bontempo (actor and director), Jonny Costantino (writer, director, producer), Antonio Di Trento (journalist) , Maurizio Gemma (director of the Campania Region Film Commission), Silvestro Marino (producer), Roberto Moliterni (writer and screenwriter), Antonio Parlati (President of the Publishing, Culture and Entertainment Section of the Naples Industrial Union), Carlo Puca (journalist and writer of books, docufilms and plays), Margi Villa del Priore (actress).

The BEST INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM AWARD MITREOFILMFESTIVAL 2018 (TECHNICAL JURY) is awarded: prize money and sculpture;

The evening is embellished by the choreography of the dance troupe
by Imma Allocca, Vitart Academy dance school .
The choreographer Francesca Di Somma also intervenes with traces of her MoveProject, a project on movement conceived by her and dedicated to Contemporary research dance and Theater Dance.

The Staff of the MitreoFilmFestival 2018 also assigns the GREAT WORDS - MITREOFILMFESTIVAL FOR CULTURE AND ART recognition to some authors who have actively participated in the various editions of the festival, supporting their life, and who carry far, in the world of culture, the importance of the grace of the word and of his work: the director Jonny Costantino, the journalist and writer Carlo Puca, the president of the CFCC Giuseppe Colella, the writer and screenwriter Roberto Moliterni.
Sunday, October 14th.
SCENE 9. 4.00 pm. CASA DELL'ARTE, via Mazzocchi 1. HISTORY OF THE MITREO.
Screening of the most beautiful works passed during the eighteen editions of the festival.
SCENE 10. 19.00. CASA DELL'ARTE, via Mazzocchi 1. WORKS CONCLUSION CREATIVE SPACE.
The works of the CREATIVE SPACE are concluded and the projects deemed suitable for Cinema, Theater and Literature deemed suitable by the staff for the activities and productions of 2019 of the Ass. cult. Mitreo Film Festival.
